The Navy physician assistant is an integral member of the team providing health care services. This officer is primarily responsible for examine, diagnosing and treating patients under the supervision of a doctor.
Training
To become an officer in the Navy, you must be a current student or graduate of a four-year college or university. You must also complete an extensive training officer course, which may vary in length depending upon your specialty.
