| Job Description |
The Air Force aircraft hydraulic systems apprentice is an integral member in ensuring success in battle, training and testing. This specialist is primarily responsible for the proper operation of the hydraulic systems on the aircraft. The range of duties includes:
- Troubleshooting and correcting problems
- Repairing, inspecting and installing the systems and their components
Training
Nearly every Air Force enlisted soldier undergoes six weeks of basic training, which consists of basic skills needed for Air Force activities. Advanced individual training is usually required for specialization. The length of time needed for advanced training varies depending on the area of specialization.
