The Marine training and audiovisual support specialist is an integral member in ensuring effective communications and training for every Marine. This specialist is primarily responsible for operating still, motion picture and aerial cameras. Duties also include:
- Developing film and prints
- Repairing cameras
- Editing films
- Working as an illustrator or draftsman
Training
Every Marine learns to become a rifle expert first. This is an integral part of the 13 weeks you'll spend in basic training, which is one of the most intense training course for any military operation. After basic, you'll attend military occupational specialty training, which varies in length depending on your specialty.

- Be physically fit
- Have a good understanding of math and chemistry
