The Marine ammunition specialist plays an important role in ensuring success in battle. This specialist is primarily responsible for inspecting, issuing and supervising the storage of ammunition.
Training
Every Marine learns to become a rifle expert first. This is an integral part of the 13 weeks you'll spend in basic training, which is one of the most intense training course for any military operation. After basic, you'll attend military occupational specialty training, which varies in length depending on your specialty.
