The Marine transportation specialist plays an important role in moving Marines, equipment and supplies. This specialist is primarily responsible for handling cargo and passengers on Marine transports.
Training
Every Marine learns to become a rifle expert first. This is an integral part of the 13 weeks you'll spend in basic training, which is one of the most intense training course for any military operation. After basic, you'll attend military occupational specialty training, which varies in length depending on your specialty.
