| Job Description |
The Marine air traffic control specialist is an integral member in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring the safety of Marines and civilians. This specialist is primarily responsible for assisting in the operation of the airfield control tower and radio-radar air traffic control systems.
Training
Every Marine learns to become a rifle expert first. This is an integral part of the 13 weeks you'll spend in basic training, which is one of the most intense training course for any military operation. After basic, you'll attend military occupational specialty training, which varies in length depending on your specialty.
