Job Description
The Marine aviation ordnance specialist is an integral member of the team providing combat support. This specialist is primarily responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft armament systems, gun pods, machine guns and related equipment.



Training

Every Marine learns to become a rifle expert first. This is an integral part of the 13 weeks you'll spend in basic training, which is one of the most intense training course for any military operation. After basic, you'll attend military occupational specialty training, which varies in length depending on your specialty.



Helpful skills

The ideal candidate for the Marine aviation ordnance specialist should:

- Be physically fit
