The Marine surveying specialist is an integral member of the team providing the infrastructure for Marine operations. This specialist is primarily responsible for preparing military maps and helping in the preparation of architectural and mechanical drawings.
Training
Every Marine learns to become a rifle expert first. This is an integral part of the 13 weeks you'll spend in basic training, which is one of the most intense training course for any military operation. After basic, you'll attend military occupational specialty training, which varies in length depending on your specialty.

The ideal candidate for the Marine surveying specialist should:
