| Job Description |
The Marine construction specialist is an integral member of the team providing the infrastructure for Marine operations. This specialist is primarily responsible for
- Performing metalworking operations
- Maintaining fuel storage and heavy engineering equipment
- Constructing or repairing military facilities
Training
Every Marine learns to become a rifle expert first. This is an integral part of the 13 weeks you'll spend in basic training, which is one of the most intense training course for any military operation. After basic, you'll attend military occupational specialty training, which varies in length depending on your specialty.
Helpful skills
The ideal candidate for the Marine drafting specialist should:
- Be physically fit
- Have a good understanding of automotive mechanics, sheet metal working, carpentry and mechanical drawing |
