| Job Description |
The Air Force aviation resource management apprentice is an integral member of both the administrative team and the flight crew. This specialist is primarily responsible for performing procedures to sign-in and sign-out aircrew members for each flight. Duties also include:
- Validating that each crew members has met safety and physical requirements
- Maintaining flight data and other important information
- Using radio equipment to coordinate information with the base
- Assisting in the preparation of flight schedules
Training
Nearly every Air Force enlisted soldier undergoes six weeks of basic training, which consists of basic skills needed for Air Force activities. Advanced individual training is usually required for specialization. The length of time needed for advanced training varies depending on the area of specialization.
