| Job Description |
The Air Force logistics plans apprentice is an integral member of the administrative team. This specialist is primarily responsible for assisting in the planning of operations deployments, sustainment, recovery and support. Duties include:
- Preparing and managing base support plans
- Developing crisis action plans with other organizations
- Coordinating efforts between other operations to support the combat mission
Training
Nearly every Air Force enlisted soldier undergoes six weeks of basic training, which consists of basic skills needed for Air Force activities. Advanced individual training is usually required for specialization. The length of time needed for advanced training varies depending on the area of specialization.
