| Job Description |
The Air Force regional band apprentice is important to the enhancement of the ceremonies and events sponsored by the Air Force. This specialist provides music in at least one of the Air Force musical groups. Musical styles vary from jazz to military music.
Training
Nearly every Air Force enlisted soldier undergoes six weeks of basic training, which consists of basic skills needed for Air Force activities. Advanced individual training is usually required for specialization. The length of time needed for advanced training varies depending on the area of specialization.
