| Job Description |
The Air Force radio communications systems apprentice provides critical communications that supports the President, the USAF and other agencies. This specialist is primarily responsible for operating radio and satellite communications equipment. Duties also include record keeping and maintaining equipment.
Training
Nearly every Air Force enlisted soldier undergoes six weeks of basic training, which consists of basic skills needed for Air Force activities. Advanced individual training is usually required for specialization. The length of time needed for advanced training varies depending on the area of specialization.
