The Air Force communications-computer systems operations apprentice plays an important role in effective communications. This specialist is primarily responsible for using computer software for a variety of assignments. Systems include word processing, spreadsheet development and database management.
Training
Nearly every Air Force enlisted soldier undergoes six weeks of basic training, which consists of basic skills needed for Air Force activities. Advanced individual training is usually required for specialization. The length of time needed for advanced training varies depending on the area of specialization.
