| Job Description |
The Air Force voice network systems apprentice plays an important role in effective communications and operational efficiency. This specialist is primarily responsible for managing, planning, scheduling and performing installation and removal of telephones and related equipment. Duties may include climbing telephone poles.
Training
Nearly every Air Force enlisted soldier undergoes six weeks of basic training, which consists of basic skills needed for Air Force activities. Advanced individual training is usually required for specialization. The length of time needed for advanced training varies depending on the area of specialization.
