The predictions of the Air Force weather apprentice affect many personnel in the Air Force, particularly those gearing up for battle. This specialist is primarily responsible for analyzing weather warnings and forecasting weather conditions. Duties also include issuing weather warnings and briefing pilots.
Training
Nearly every Air Force enlisted soldier undergoes six weeks of basic training, which consists of basic skills needed for Air Force activities. Advanced individual training is usually required for specialization. The length of time needed for advanced training varies depending on the area of specialization.
