| Job Description |
The Air Force network infrastructure apprentice may play a role in many diverse areas affecting Air Force operations. This specialist is primarily responsible for working on or repairing an assortment of electronic equipment. Common equipment includes computers, computer peripherals, telephone switching systems and other communication equipment.
Training
Nearly every Air Force enlisted soldier undergoes six weeks of basic training, which consists of basic skills needed for Air Force activities. Advanced individual training is usually required for specialization. The length of time needed for advanced training varies depending on the area of specialization.
