| Job Description |
An essential member of the air defense team is the Army Patriot launching station enhanced operator. This specialist is primarily responsible for working with the Patriot launching stations. Duties include:
- Placing the station in the field
- Supplying missiles for the station
- Maintaining the station
Training
To become an Army Patriot launching station enhanced operator, you must complete nine weeks of basic training, which consists of basic soldiering skills, and 11 weeks of advanced individual training. Classroom and in-the-field instruction covers:
- Operation of the Patriot system
- Tactics related to the Patriot system
