| Job Description |
The success of Army air missions depend heavily on the Army Apache attack helicopter systems repairer. This specialist is primarily responsible for supervising and performing maintenance on Apache Attack Helicopters. Duties include:
- Operating and performing unit level maintenance on automatic test equipment
- Repairing electronic equipment, printed circuit boards and modules
- Preparing related orms and records
- Troubleshooting and repairing automatic test equipment
Training
To become an Army attack helicopter systems repairer, you must complete nine weeks of basic training, which consists of basic soldiering skills, and 38 weeks of advanced Individual training. Classroom and in-the-field instruction covers inspection and repair of aircraft electronic and equipment.
